1. Introduction & Overview
Welcome to RoseNovels ("RoseNovels," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of our mobile applications, websites, software, and related digital reading services (collectively, the "Platform").
By browsing, downloading, creating an account, or otherwise utilizing any portion of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement. If you do not accept these terms in full, you must refrain from using or accessing the Platform immediately.
2. Platform Access & User Eligibility
2.1 Age Qualifications
To register for an account or access RoseNovels, you must meet the minimum age requirements:
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age designated by your country/region of residence, such as 16 in the European Economic Area).
If you are a minor under the governing age in your jurisdiction, you may only access RoseNovels under the supervision and with the explicit authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
2.2 Account Creation & Accuracy
Certain features require account registration. You agree to provide current, accurate, and complete registration details and to update such information as necessary.
2.3 Account Confidentiality
Your RoseNovels account is non-transferable and strictly intended for individual use. You are solely accountable for preserving the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all operations performed under your account. You agree to inform us promptly of any actual or suspected unauthorized access.
2.4 Account Deletion
You maintain the option to close your account at any time via the user settings page. Account closure is permanent and may result in the immediate forfeiture of associated reading data, preferences, coins, or saved library items.
3. Scope of Service & Usage Restrictions
3.1 Granted License
Subject to your continuous compliance with this Agreement, RoseNovels grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable, and non-exclusive license to access and read content on the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
3.2 Prohibited Actions
When interacting with RoseNovels, you agree not to:
Reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any novel, story, image, or portion of the Platform without explicit written authorization.
Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the RoseNovels applications or website.
Employ scrapers, web crawlers, bots, or other automated mechanisms to collect information or download restricted content.
Circumvent security measures or gain unauthorized entry to servers, network infrastructure, or fellow users' accounts.
Use RoseNovels to facilitate illegal activities or violate local, national, or international regulations.
4. Subscriptions, Paid Plans & Billing
4.1 Tiered Offerings
RoseNovels provides both free ad-supported reading features, unlockable chapters, and premium paid subscription options. Features and availability may vary between tiers.
4.2 Automated Renewal Policy
Paid subscriptions operate on a recurring billing cycle. Subscriptions automatically renew at the conclusion of each billing period unless auto-renewal is explicitly turned off at least 24 hours prior to the current term's expiration.
4.3 Payment Authorization & Third Parties
By selecting a paid plan or purchasing virtual reading items on RoseNovels, you authorize us (or our designated payment processors/app stores such as Apple App Store or Google Play) to charge your selected payment method for applicable subscription fees, coins, and taxes. Subscription management and cancellation can be performed through your account settings or the respective app store portal.
4.4 Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may terminate your recurring subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your premium access continues until the end of your prepaid billing window. Unless mandated by applicable consumer protection laws, paid fees and spent virtual items are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued once virtual novels or reading credits have been unlocked.
4.5 Fee Modifications
RoseNovels reserves the right to revise our pricing structures and coin store packages. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any subscription price adjustments. Your continued service use after the revised fees take effect signifies acceptance of the updated pricing.
5. Intellectual Property Rights & User Contributions
5.1 Proprietary Ownership
All software, novels, graphic interfaces, text, audio, logos, trademarks, and digital works published on RoseNovels (excluding original User Content) are the exclusive property of RoseNovels or our story licensors, protected by global copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
5.2 User-Generated Content (UGC) License
If you submit comments, reviews, novel chapters, or other materials ("User Content"), you retain copyright ownership over your original material. However, by publishing User Content on RoseNovels, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, and sublicensable license to host, display, adapt, perform, and distribute such content in connection with operating and marketing the Platform.
5.3 Catalog Updates
We reserve the right to add, update, or remove novels, stories, or features at any time without prior liability, due to licensing agreements, legal requirements, or operational editorial decisions.
6. Conduct Directives & Community Guidelines
You agree to maintain a respectful environment while utilizing interactive RoseNovels community features. You shall not post, transmit, or share any content that:
Is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, or abusive.
Infringes upon third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
Promotes discrimination, hatred, violence, or harm against individuals or groups.
Contains malicious software, viruses, phishing links, or unsolicited spam.
RoseNovels reserves full editorial discretion to review, flag, hide, or delete non-compliant content and to suspend or terminate offending accounts.
7. Third-Party Links & External Services
RoseNovels may embed links or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, or services (e.g., social media logins or payment gateways). We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party practices, content, or privacy policies. Your interactions with third-party providers are strictly between you and the respective third party.
8. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
8.1 "As-Available" Provision
The Platform and all associated novel content are delivered on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without guarantees or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory (including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement).
8.2 Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither RoseNovels, its affiliates, directors, employees, nor licensors shall be held liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption) arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Platform.
9. Indemnity & Enforcement Remedies
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RoseNovels, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, costs, damages, or legal fees stemming from your violation of this Agreement, unauthorized Platform use, or infringement of third-party rights.
In the event of contractual breaches, RoseNovels reserves the right to issue warnings, restrict feature access, terminate accounts, remove content, or pursue legal remedies.
10. Modifications, Governing Law & Arbitration
10.1 Agreement Revisions
We may update this Agreement periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications, direct messages, or by updating the revision date above. Continued usage of RoseNovels following the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
10.2 Choice of Law
This Agreement and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10.3 Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Clause
Any dispute, claim, or controversy originating from or relating to this Agreement or RoseNovels shall be resolved through final and binding individual arbitration rather than in court. You agree to waive any right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings.
11. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full legal force. This Agreement, alongside our Privacy Policy, constitutes the complete understanding between you and RoseNovels regarding the Platform.
